A winter abstract with crows painting of a four crows in a semi abstract winter forest with shades of purple and orange. The crows fly in elegant formation against an abstract, art nouveau type background that looks like a winter forest at sunset or dusk. However, it has been deliberately blurred to make it look distant. The crows by comparison have been painted very sharply so that they are obviously near to the foreground. Strange patterns that are reminiscent of pagan runes surround the crows which make the scene slightly mysterious. It was inspired by the fact that crows are often thought of as spiritual messengers and by the fact that I often feel they are monitoring me when I walk in their territory and reporting my progress to someone! I like a mystery and I love crows.
