My job in life is to make art and teach art. I will never be rich but I am fortunate and therefore try to support causes that make life better for all of us. Most of the causes listed below are sponsored by the Church of Scientology. Contrary to the weird ideas some people have of it, Scientology does more good for more people every day than most people can even guess at. For those who are curious do check the following links. There is a reason Scientology is a fast growing religion and it will almost certainly not be what you think it is.

The Way to Happiness Campaign
I support the Way to Happiness as it is a simple common sense guide that can make a big difference to the self-confidence and sense of stability of anyone - no matter who they are and what circumstances they are in. An interesting observation often made by police chiefs, army officers and even politicians, that are using it, is that where this little booklet is distributed, crime rates have a tendency to go down. It has no religious, political or other agenda.

Drug Free World
I support Drug Free World as it provides the bare scientific facts about each kind of drug. Including street drugs, prescription drugs and alcohol. Use of drugs in the UK, especially prescription drugs, is off the scales right now and it is no coincidence that crime, violence and suicides are also going up. If someone you know is using drugs or is being prescribed them, the information about what to expect is on this site. Some drugs do a good and necessary job, many do not.The first link below is the main site, the second is to the free educational courses for children and adults about drugs. They are simple, informative, non preachy, scientifically factual courses that everyone needs to know about drugs.

Citizens Commission on Human Rights Campaign
On some level, many people distrust psychiatry and its methods. There is good reason for this. The truth about psychiatry needs to be known as psychiatrists are often close to those in authority which can have a far reaching effect on the areas those authorities influence. Many school children are being drugged and labelled unnecessarily, people in mourning are drugged, those in care homes are drugged, those in asylums are drugged and sometimes electrocuted too. The problem with the practices that psychiatrists use is that sometimes they are just too unbelievable and so people tend not to really see what is occurring until it is occurring to them or someone they know. The Citizens Commission on Human Rights investigates psychiatric abuse and has the experience to defend and protect those affected badly by it. It is a good idea to be informed. A case in the US recently involved a baby being prescribed anti-depressants - how could that even happen?
Narconon Drug Rehabilitation
Narconon is probably the most successful drug rehabilitation programme available today. It has organisations all over the world including the first UK one which opened in Sussex a few years ago. Statistically, the majority of people who complete the Narconon drug programme do not revert back to drugs.

Applied Scholastics
Applied Scholastics is a method of helping children and adults to overcome difficulties with studying, learning or retaining information. It does this by finding and removing the barriers that each individual has that are preventing them being able to easily learn things. It then rehabilitates in them an enthusiasm for learning things that they would previously have thought impossible. A poor ability to study and learn is very common and is quite ruinous as it limits a person’s options across the boards for their entire lives. Ability and success in life can be raised for anyone by helping them learn and enjoy learning new things.

Youth For Human Rights
All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. Unfortunately when you look around globally you will see many violations of this. The mission of Youth for Human Rights is simply to educate people as to what their human rights are. This tends to shine a light on current violations of human rights in any given area and enables those educated to tackle and solve them. It is a very simple idea but many people do not know what their human rights are and remain victims as a result.
